Hosted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response with the Office of the Surgeon General.
Objectives:
To enhance the professional awareness and development of HOSA interns.
To provide career development opportunities through an intensive field experience.
To increase the scholars’ knowledge of the mission, infrastructure, operations, and day-to-day responsibilities of the USPHS.
To strengthen the partnership between the OSG, USPHS, and HOSA
