Curriculum links to Geography on Rivers, Mountains.
Emphasis on team building, cooperation, problem solving, independence.
All instructors CRB checked, first aid trained and specialist qualifications in outdoor education activities.
Safety – specialist equipment, instructions.
Going with a small group from Checkendon.
Put inot mixed groups for activities.
Duty groups.

9. Daily Routine
7.00 Wake up. Pupils clean bedrooms and prepare for the day.
Duty group prepare dining room for breakfast.
8.00 – Breakfast. Duty instructor arrives.
8.45 Pupil room check and duties.
9.00 Staff meeting (Woodlands instructors and visiting staff).
Pupil meeting with Course Director in Lounge.
9.30 Activity groups meet instructors for day’s activities.
4.30 – 5.00 Return from activities. Shower etc.
Duty group prepare dining room for evening meal.
5.30 Evening meal.
7.30 approx. Evening activity.
9.00 approx Bedtime
Duty instructor leaves. Visiting staff responsible for settling group

On River Wye or Canal depending on river level.
