Hints and Ideas for Our European Tour
Packing for the Trip Hints and Ideas for Our European Tour
2
Checked Luggage
3
A suitcase with wheels and a handle
You will have to carry your own luggage to and from the bus and your hotel rooms. Wheels are a must! A 26 inch high case works fine but the 28 inch one is roomier. However, no matter the size you will only be allowed 40 pounds in this bag since it is checked on the plane. Wal-mart and most department stores carry these either in-store or online

Carry on Luggage
10
The EF Tour Backpack (this will be provided FREE from the company)
I would like this to be your ONLY carry-on on the trip over to Europe. Larger bags have to be placed in the cargo hold and the delays can make it difficult to make connecting flights.

Packing List for Carry-on
____Passport ____Money ____Boarding pass/ticket ____Toothbrush/Toothpaste/Hand-Sanitizer/Hand lotion (3oz) in a Plastic Travel Bag ____Glasses/Contact Lens ____Change of Underwear/Clothes ____Medications ____Any Valuables ____Gum/snacks/book/magazine ____Phone/iPod/Charge cords ____Items for sleeping on plane (Neck pillow, eye mask, earplugs, Dramamine, Benadryl or sleep aid)
13
Sleeping on the plane Dramamine will stop motion sickness so you can sleep on the plane. You may need Benadryl or Z-Quil to help you fall asleep. Have a pack of ear plugs, too. Planes are noisy. Eye masks help when the planes lights are on or it’s too bright outside. Pack a neck pillow for the plane or bus rides.(One with snaps attaches to your suitcase or backpack and doesn’t take up room inside.)
14
Pack an Extra Bag
15
Extra Bag Pack this bag at the bottom of your suitcase,
If you have souvenirs, or extra clothes you bought on the trip this can become your 2nd carry-on bag. Having a 2nd carry-on bag keeps your checked bag under 40lbs.
16
You can get the expensive kind or go cheap!
17
Packing 101 Dirty clothes bag (cloth or plastic)
Extra zip-lock bags in different sizes for un-foreseen situations Dryer sheets to keep things in the suitcase fresh. As you travel, you will discover what works for you and what doesn’t. Try out new ways and make note of the successes!
