4. What is Laser Tattoo Removal?
This technique is the removal of tattoo pigments using Q-switched lasers. 
Tattoo removal is performed using lasers that break down the ink particles in the tattoo. The broken-down ink is then absorbed by the body, mimicking the natural fading that time or sun exposure would create.
Laser tattoo removal requires repeat visits.
There are several types of Q-switched lasers, each is effective at removing a different range of the colour spectrum and molecule size.

Before you take our Masterclass, you would be required to have the following qualifications:
Either a Level 3/4 in Beauty or an equivalent Semi Permanent MakeUp Qualification
Or -
Our Core of Knowledge certificate specifically from – which is included in the price.
If you have no experience in this industry, then it will be essential you also take this online Anatomy & Physiology Qualification -

10. A bit about the training
Lorena Öberg’s laser tattoo removal training specializes in providing instruction to those who want to safely perform laser tattoo removal.
We offer an explanation of key elements of laser tattoo removal – understanding the skin, tattoo removal equipment, plenty of before, after, and during pictures of tattoo removal procedures and examples, and opportunities for our tattoo removal training students to practice on real patients.

11. Exploring Tattoo Removal
The section “Exploring Tattoo Removal” is a key component of our laser tattoo removal training course. During this extensive section, we will discuss the energy (fluence) levels that are used during procedures and discuss the side effects of laser tattoo removal. We will show you plenty of pictures of what a patient’s tattoo will look like during treatment.
It is important for our students to know what to expect when they have their own patients. You’ll know that a blister can be very small or quite large and how to prepare patients for this as well as how to advise them to take care of this common side effect.
You will be exposed to pictures of hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation and instructions on how to deal with these conditions.
And you will also see stubborn tattoos that aren’t easily removed and we will provide you with the knowledge and tools to advise patients on whether or not laser tattoo removal is a suitable treatment for their tattoo.

Our training will provide you with the knowledge and support to ensure you are comfortable and confident, providing this great service.
Our training will provide you with a level 3 and level 4 laser qualification. (Further training can be taken at a later date for Level 5 & Level 6 qualifications)
The Core of Knowledge and A&P certificates ensure you have the qualifications to use a laser machine (this is all the government requires you to have in order to legally operate these machines).
We will provide you with a full Certificate of Attendance at the end of the training.
Official qualifications come from our accrediting body further to submitting case studies.
