2. What is marine litter?
Marine litter is a human-created waste that is thrown into the sea or near it.

3. What harm does it do to the wildlife?
Marine litter is very harmful for such curious animals as dolphins, sea lions and seals. They always examine unusual objects in the sea, so they get mixed up in wastes. It causes some problems with their health.

4. There are also some animals which think that litter is an uтsusal food and eat it. It’s very harmful for them.

5. What harm does it do to people?
Marine litter is also very harmful to people. One can cut himself(herself) with glass or metal which lies on the bottom of the sea . It is also bad for health to swim in the dirty water.

6. Marine litter can block boat propellers, which is dangerous and very expensive to repair

7. What can we do to avoid sea pollution?
If we want to keep our seas and oceans clean, we should follow the following rules:
Take ALL of your litter with you
Don’t leave any other litter which lies around
If you live near a beach, try to clean it up as often as you can.
