First part Start with random people interviews
Ask “What is freedom to you” Follow with VO intro add some pictures. Freedom is the power to determine action without restraint. Without freedom, the United States of America would not have progressed into what it is today. For example, without women pressing for freedom, then they would still operate along the lines of slavery. The declaration of independence indicates that all people are created equal and the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, all of which are rights to freedom So what is freedom in america?

Second Open up with aviation
Think about what our world would be like today without the power to fly. There would be no spread of culture and shipping days from amazon would be like 3 weeks! This is how much of an impact aviation has had on our world. Not only has the world changed economically, but socially as well. If you want to visit your great step uncle in china, you no longer need to take a boat for 6 weeks to get there. You just fly for a couple hours. In the beginning, flying was not a common thing. As a matter of fact, almost 90% of people were against flying, until Charles Lindbergh completed his flight across the atlantic with no problems whatsoever. That is when stocks soared for airlines and the drive to create better and more advanced flying devices. Even today we still look for ways to travel. Our newest frontier has been space travel.

Seven Looking back at the Civil Rights Movement, the African Americans needed a law to past to protect them and their rights. Simply trying to fight it wasn't enough. Most of America supports it. Women could have continued to fight for the right to go to colleges and receive financial aid but in reality, that would most likely still be an issue today. Title IX passed and there is still discussion on women and their rights. Looking back at the Civil Rights Movement, the African Americans needed a law to past to protect them and their rights. Eight Initially, there was criticism about whether or not Title IX was fair. Some colleges and other institutions that were affected by Title IX tried to ignore it, pretending it wasn't there. Although, "between 1972 and 1995, female interscholastic athletic participation rose from one in twenty-seven enrolled to one in three" (Hatcher). The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) soon began to schedule women's championships and began to fund their athletics. The shift was caused by the requirements Title IX presented. Schools could only comply if certain rules were met such as, firstly, whether athletic opportunities for male and female students are provided in numbers proportionate to their enrollment numbers. Secondly, whether the institution can demonstrate the expansion of their programs to match developing interest of the members of the underrepresented sex. Finally, whether it can be shown that current programs have fully accommodated the interest and abilities of the underrepresented sex (Gavora). The change in direction continues because Title IX is still flawed, because in trying to not discriminate women, it may have discriminated against men. Reform is still necessary, but without Title IX--there would be many more mountains to climb.

Closing The impact of these issues was critical to create the society we have today. The freedom to travel, play sports, or be treated equally has been beneficial for America.
