Summary of Patients’ Comments Not all patients added a comment to the questionnaire. Those who did were overwhelmingly positive about the Abbots Bromley Practice. In particular, the ‘No Appointments’ service was supported by every patient who expressed an opinion, although a few would like a limited appointment service to be introduced in particular circumstances (see below). Visitors to the web-site are in a minority but most expressed a wish to re-order prescriptions on-line. Checking administrative details (e.g. times, phone numbers etc) was the most common reason given for visits. Suggestions, Observations and Questions: Concern at gap between mid-day Friday and Monday. Advice please? A number of patients would like to order medication via web-site What about a coffee machine? The more 'needy' patients may not be able to fill in this form For some patients a Saturday surgery would be helpful Could you please explain what the nurse practitioner does? First class service, but an overcrowded waiting room can be off-putting. A mixed appointment (8-9) and walk-in service (9-10) would be nice Wide experience of surgeries around UK - this is the best I have used! Why not have appointments for, say, one afternoon per week? Knowing the GP's schedule for week ahead would help when planning a visit Photos of staff on the web-site would be appreciated Too gossipy in waiting room. More privacy would be nice. Sometimes one can have long wait but much preferable to an appointment service J Hough ( ) AB PPG Patient Survey March 2014
