A little about me! Bachelor’s degree from University of Georgia in Early Childhood Education and Master’s Degree from Auburn University Montgomery 34th year teaching 2 years in Special Education 3 year in 2ndgrade 5 years in Kindergarten 5 years in 3rd Grade This is my 19th year in 1st grade

Please help us encourage them to re-read if something they say doesn’t make sense!

How can parents help their child?
Read with your child EVERY night!!! Make sight word study fun! Review even after mastery so they retain the information. -Make flash cards -Play games -Use the computer FIRST IN MATH is a WONDERFUL resource that will soon be available to you! Review class work sent home each week to see weak areas your child needs practice with! Stay positive & encourage them to do their best each day!!!!
