Homelessness: The Facts
5540 people were listed as homeless in December 2015, 1616 of whom are children. 41 families became homeless in December 2015. 125 families became homeless in January 2016. This number will continue to increase as the epidemic continues due to pressure from banks and lack of services to support people in crisis.

Who We Are November 2015 2 Justice groups: Abbey Justice Group & Ard Scoil Na Mara Peace&Justice Started work with High Hopes Choir and Dr. Phil Brennan Inspired by workshops; decided to start a campaign to end homelessness in Ireland January 2016 Abbey & Ard Scoil Join forces and One Campaign was born!

Who We Are Social Justice Group campaigning for Homeless people in 2016 Ireland Work with High Hopes Choir and other Homeless organisations (Focus, SVP, etc) Try to raise awareness about Homelessness as well as work towards ending the crisis

What We Are Doing Humans of the South-East
Photography Project by students Taking photos of individuals who have identified/still identify as homeless Recording interviews with the homeless and telling their stories over social media. Puts a human face on an issue that isn't recognized as human

What We Are Doing Online Campaign For Change
Need as many signatures as possible We have devised a charter of action which is broken into 3 strands: Increase social housing as a matter of urgency Introduce interim measures to ease the immediate crisis Prevent the banks from evicting people from their homes and promote the mortgage to rent scheme so that no more families have to go through the ignominy of being forced out of their family home.
