4. What are the ELAC tasks?
The ELAC advises the school principal and staff on the school’s program for English learners.
Asesorar al director, al personal de la escuela sobre la necesidades de los estudiantes de ingles.
The ELAC advises the School Site Council (SSC) on the development of the Single School Plan for Student Achievement
Asesorar al Consejo Escolar sobre el desarrollo del presupuesto y del plan escolar

5. What are the ELAC tasks?
The ELAC assists in the development of the following/El ELAC asistir en el desarollo de:
The school's needs assessment/evauacion de las necisadades escolar
The school's annual language census (R-30 LC Report)/censo de Idiomas
Efforts to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance/Maneras de logar que los padres padres sean conscientes de la importancia de la asistencia regular a la escuela

6. Election/Elecciones
Chairperson/Presidente: attends all meetings, signs letters reports and other ELAC communitcations
Presidir todas la reuniones del ELAC, firmar cartas y otros comunicados del ELAC
Vice-chairperson/vicepresidente: represent the chairperson and substitutes for the chairperson
Representar el presidente, o sustituir al presidente

7. Secretary/Secretaria: keep minutes of ELAC meetings, maintain contact information of ELAC members
Elaborar las actas de todas las reuniones, mantener un registro de la informacion de los miembros del ELAC
DELAC representative & alternate/Represntante del DELAC: attend all DELAC meetings, share input from ELAC to DELAC and vice versa
