Why have a T+L strategy? All staff in the institution have a role to play – collaboration between faculties and divisions to develop integrated approaches Students’ role in becoming engaged? Transition, Retention and Achievement recognised as vital – central to student engagement – attendance policies? Active learning methods? PBL? Engagement to begin prior to arrival at UL? Articulating the teaching, learning and assessment triad 3
