9. Mobile Network Porting (MNP)
This facility allows a subscriber to move from one Access Provider to another within in a licensed service area while retaining his mobile telephone number
Procedure:
Generate UPC by sending SMS <PORT> to The UPC Code generated is valid for 15 days
Obtain a new SIM card from the Operator of Choice after submitting the duly filled Porting Form (with the UPC Code) and Customer Application Form along with documentary proof
Average time taken for the Porting will be 7 business days.
Maximum service disruption time will be 4 hours during night of the date/time of porting.
