Few facts about the Baltic States
The Baltic states, the three countries in northern Europe on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. All three Baltic countries are members of the Schengen Area All Baltic countries have one currency – the euro (EUR) Total populatiot of the Baltic States is 6,194,803 (2015) 3 Baltic Capitals are: Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), Vilnius (Lithuania), the biggest city is Riga, located in the middle of the Baltic States Region with 696,593 inhabitants. Tallinn has 407, 947 inhabitants and population of Vilnius is 535,216 persons. The languages of Baltic nations belong to two different language families: the Latvian and Lithuanian languages belong to the Indo-European language family. The Estonian belong to the Balto-Finnic, being closely related to the Finnish language.
