3 Agenda Interop Challenges Experience Overview Supported Features
Deployment/Service Architecture Currently Supported VTCs

4 Typical Interoperability Challenges
Including Equipment in Scheduled meetings Scheduling mechanisms often require additional software Endpoints equipment (location & VTC model) may not be known by organizer Many room systems do not support native Outlook scheduling Meeting Join May require deployment of client-side plug-ins Many VTC models have no keyboard – painful to type long dial-in strings In Meeting Majority of existing solutions require “meet on the bridge” – not native Skype for Business MCU and integrated roster Many interop solutions fail to show shared content correctly or to all participants Purchasing and Administration Deployment and licensing involves planning A usable solution addresses more than just technical interoperability challenges but focuses on the end-user experience to drive actual adoption.

12 Meeting Room Challenges
Problem Many VTCs will have limited input methods Calendaring “Click-to-Join” may not be viable Some VTCs leverage H.323 or SIP, which vary in dial string Different models handle H.323 and SIP dial strings differently Solution: Support Multiple Join Mechanisms Click-to-Join: For internal VTCs, using click to join, the VTC will directly join the meeting. SIP IVR: Dial then conference ID is entered via IVR Speed dial for SIP URI/H.323: Dial Conf ID + normalization rule: For internal VTCs, the user enters only the normalization code and Conf ID and they will join the meeting directly

US West US West US Cent. Each Polycom RealConnect Service (RCS) is comprised of multiple ingress points that are behind a VIP/call redirector service. In the instance whereby a regional data center was completely down the VTC would be re- directed via geo DNS to the next available RCS data center. For H.323 endpoints this dial-in addresses will be presented within the dial-in instructions page, this is also updated dynamically via geo DNS. US Central US East US East
