2. What is a heart attack?
A sudden and sometimes fatal occurrence of the coronary thrombosis that typically results in the death part of a muscle.
It happens when the flow of oxygen-rich blood to a section of the heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked and the heart can’t get oxygen.

4. Tests to Diagnose a Heart Attack
EKG- can tell how much damage has occurred to your heart
Blood Test- to measure the levels of cardiac enzymes that indicate heart muscle damage
Echocardiography- to see how the heart is pumping
Cardiac Catheterization- if symptoms are not relieving, it can be used to directly visualize the blocked artery and help your doctor determine which procedure is needed to treat the blockage.

~ ACE Inhibitors - Pharmaceutical drug used primarily for the treatment of hypertension and congestive heart failure
~ Thrombolytic Therapy - Drugs used to break up or dissolve blood clots

Aspirin is given to reduce further blood clotting
