Honeywell Immigration Processes for Manager
The following 3 process flows are described in this document. The yellow boxes in the process highlight the steps which the manager is involved in: Initiate a Visa process for hiring a new Employee Initiate a Visa process for extending a current Employee’s visa Initiate a PERM process for a current Employee

Initiate a Visa process for hiring a new Employee Manager Role
Staffing requests Cost and Time estimate HRS initiates approval workflow including time and cost estimates Manager approves HRG approves Start HRG notifies staffing of the candidate to be hired Manager provides completed initiation form to HRS HRS initiates case with Fragomen End Staffing will submit an assessment to Fragomen Fragomen will send recommendation & cost/time assessment to HRS HRS will initiate a workflow in the portal You will receive and asking for your approval or rejection If you reject, you will need to notify staffing of the rejected candidate If you approve, HR will receive an asking for their approval or rejection HR will need to advise staffing of the selected candidate to be hired HRS will receive a notification from the portal to initiate the visa process HRS will send you a visa initiation form to complete You will need to complete the initiation form and it to HRS HRS will submit the initiation form through Fragomen’s IHP site

Initiate a Visa process for extending a current Employee’s visa Manager Role
HRS initiates approval workflow Manager approves HRG approves Manager provides completed initiation form to HRS HRS and Fragomen initiate visa case EE submits documentation through IHP site Start Fragomen notifies approval to Mngr, EE, HR and HRS Fragomen prepares case EE & HRS sign-off the case Fragomen files the case End HRS will initiate a workflow in the portal You will receive an asking for your approval or rejection If you reject, you will need to notify the employee & HR If you approve, HR will receive an asking for their approval or rejection If HR rejects, they will need to notify you & the employee If HR approves, a notification will be sent to HRS to initiate the case with Fragomen HRS will send you a visa initiation form to complete You will need to complete the initiation form and it to HRS HRS will submit the initiation form through Fragomen’s IHP site Fragomen will receive initiation form and send the employee an to complete documentation Employee completes documentation and submits through IHP site Fragomen prepares case & sends document to Employee & HRS to review & sign Employee & HRS review and send signed documents to Fragomen Fragomen files the case Once case is approved Fragomen notifies you, employee, HR, & HRS

HRS initiates approval workflow Manager approves HRG approves Manager provides completed initiation form to HRS HRS and Fragomen initiate visa case Start Employee submits required documentation Case discussion (Fragomen, EE, Mngr, HR) Sign-off Job Description (Mngr, EE, HR) Fragomen Files Prevailing wage with Department of Labor Discuss Prevailing Wage (HRS, Mngr, HR) Conducts Candidate interview process (HRS, HR) If no qualified candidate is found, Fragomen files case Fragomen notifies result of case filing End HRS will initiate a workflow in the portal You will receive and asking for your approval or rejection If you reject, you will need to notify the employee & HR If you approve, HR will receive an asking for their approval or rejection If HR rejects, they will need to notify you & the employee If HR approves, a notification will be sent to HRS to initiate the case with Fragomen HRS will send you a perm initiation form to complete You will need to complete the initiation form and it back to HRS HRS will submit the initiation form through Fragomen’s IHP site Fragomen will receive the initiation form and send the Employee an to complete documentation Employee completes documentation and submits through IHP site Fragomen will schedule a teleconference with HR, manager, employee, & HRS to discuss case Fragomen creates job description and sends to you, HR, & employee to review and/or make changes You, HR & employee make any needed changes to job description and send back to Fragomen Fragomen files prevailing wage with Department of Labor

HRS discussed prevailing wage determination with you & HR If prevailing wage is met, Fragomen creates recruitment documents & sends to HRS HRS follows perm guidelines and posts recruitment documents HRS sends all candidate resumes to you, to complete an applicant evaluation form You will need to review all resumes and conduct phone screens with all minimally qualified candidates You will need to complete an applicant evaluation form for all candidates and send completed forms to HRS HRS will compile all applicant evaluation forms and resumes and send to Fragomen If a qualified candidate is found, the perm process ends If no qualified candidate is found, Fragomen will prepare the case & send documents to Employee & HRS to review & sign Employee & HRS review and send signed documents to Fragomen Fragomen files the case Once case is approved Fragomen notifies you, employee, HR, & HRS
