Biographical Information
Born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts Graduated from Central High School in 1920 Attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire Wrote for the school newspaper Drew cartoons for magazines Wrote first book on a ship called And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street Died at 87, on September 24, 1991 in La Jolla, California
