2 Why is Dr. Seuss Famous ? Dr. Seuss is a famous person because he wrote many books for children. The books had many words to help children read.

3 Important Events First, when Theodor Geisel was in college he edited his school magazine . He also drew pictures. Second, Theodor met Helen Palmer an American student at Lincoln College at Oxford University. Helen and Theodor got married on November 29, 1927. Third, Dr. Seuss or Theodor Geisel was on a boat trip and he got fascinated by the boats motor and wrote his first book called “ And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street.” Fourth, Theodor got a bet with Bennett Cerf that Theodor couldn’t wright a book with 50 words and Theodor did it .

4 Important Events Fifth, sadly Theodor Seuss Geisel died on September 24 ,1991

5 Other Interesting Facts
One interesting fact about Dr. Seuss is that Dr. Seuss went to World War II. Another interesting fact about Dr. Seuss is the first book he wrote was “ And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street.” Another interesting fact about Dr. Seuss is that he played soccer.

6 Creative Dr. Seuss is creative because he drew pictures of crazy animals, made up people and talking creatures and animals with long ears or odd feet.

7 Determined Dr. Seuss was determined to reach his goal by making books for children . He made more than 50 books about fun creatures . Even when his eyesight began to fail he kept working!

8 Adventurous Dr. Seuss was adventurous because he always had adventures in lands in his mind . He had new ideas about the future!

9 Imaginative Dr. Seuss was imaginative because he thought of crazy animals, lands, and much more .
