Be able to list what type of contracts (4) are overseen by the SNP unit
Be familiar with the flow of the NEW online contract approval process
Evaluate and determine strategies for successful implementation for the school year

4. Changes Online submission of four contracts
FSMC
Commercial vending
SFA to SFA vending
Consolidation
Standard FSMC Request for Proposal (RFP) will become contract for FSMC
Standard state agency contract required for other three scenarios

5. FSMC contracts…..
Fixed Cost contract will be required for base year contracts in (affects those SFAs currently in the 5th year for : this is 86 out of 437 or 20% and will also include any SFA entering a new Base year contract )
Implementation will be phased-in for FSMC renewals in and on

6. FSMC contract fixed price timeframes when current contracts are renewed for the allowable 5 year total:
Base year of will be required in 19-20*
Base year of will be required in 20-21*
Base year of will be required in 21-22*
Base year of will be required in 22-23*
*Fixed rate contracts will be REQUIRED
for the school year the RFP is advertised
for a new base year contract

SFAs will have contract oversight
Certifiers and Alternate are the only users with access to contracts
SFA submitters and alternate submitters will have view only access to reports (no access to contracts)
The ECAS system will have the capability of retaining historical data and assist in the sequence of the process
ECAS Reports will be available for review and auditing purposes
