HCM Module – Org. Mgmt. In OM, employees are mapped to positions as persons and positions belong to Organizational units which functionally represent various departments in the organization. These objects are created and maintained separately and then linked together through relationships to form a flexible network.

For ERP implementation, Circles have to provide information in the prescribed Performa known as templates. There are three types of templates in HCM Modules: 1. Master Data – 22 Nos. 2. Transactional Data – 11 Nos. 3. Roles & Authorization – 3 Nos.

HCM Module – Master Templates
Master Data: Data which is fixed in nature and to be created in the system on one time basis and will not be changed frequently. MDM team of circles shall have the authorization to create/change the master data. (e.g. Org. Unit, Position, Work Center, PA employee Data, etc

HCM Module – Transactional Templates
Transactional Data: Data which is not of fixed nature and going to change frequently. End user can change the data as and when required. (e.g. Medical, Training, etc.)

Roles and Authorisation Data: Roles given to the end users of respective POC’s & authorized to perform certain transaction codes (T-Codes).

HCM Module – Go Live Lessons learnt from POC Circles 1. The most critical issue is delay in provision of data in templates. 2. Correct data in respect of position, work area, present Grade & Cadre, Leave, Family details, medical and house accommodation are most important for Go live.
