2 Typical setup for GM or higher
Creating a Custom Role A Custom Role needs to be created and assigned to all the people who are to be setup as a Location Manager and need to be able to Transfer and/or Receive Forms Creating the Custom Role Click on the Module drop down and select Admin Tools Admin Tools>General>Setup>Custom Roles Click New Item>Enter Role Title and Description as shown here. Click Save. Click Add in the Permissions column and find the permission listed Click Add to attach each Permission to this Role Sample for Location Eval Manager w/ Transfer & Receive Permissions Typical setup for an Asst Manager or Asst GM Typical setup for GM or higher Location Manager Assign Evals lets the person assign a form to any employee at the location using the Manager Tools – See pg 3 Location Manager View Non Managers lets the person view any from completed for any employee at the location with the exception of other Managers. The forms can be view through the Employees tab – See pg 5 Location Manager View All Employees – Can see ALL forms for All employees at that location

3 Assigning Eval Manager Roles and Transfer Rights
In order for Managers to be able to assign a form to anyone at their Location or to transfer to or receive a form from someone, they need to have both the transfer rights role and evaluation location manager role assigned to them. Go to Admin Tools>General>Setup>People Using the Search Box find the person you whom you want to add these Roles Click on the person’s name and go to the Roles tab Click the boxes to assign the Manager’s Roles as shown below - 3 total for each type – click Save. To go to the next person, start typing the name in the Change Employee dropdown field. Names with that string of characters will start to appear, choose the right one and you will go to the Details Tab for that person. Go to the Roles tab and repeat the until all Managers have been given these Roles. Roles for Normal Eval Location Manager Roles for General Manager and above

4 Assigning Location Managers
Go to Admin Tools>Locations>Location Managers

5 Choose a Location> Click Add New…> Select Person from List> Click Save> Repeat until all Managers at a Location have been Selected!

6 Transferring Forms Forms can be transferred from one person to another if the form is setup to allow it to be transferred and if the Managers have the proper Role assigned to them to Transfer and/or Receive forms. Setup forms to be Transferred by checking the box on the Details page of the form When the form is assigned there will be the addition of the Transfer link. Clicking on the link will bring up a list of people who can receive forms. Choose the one to whom the form should be transferred. Clicking Save will send the form to the person you have chosen.

7 Assigning Forms Individually
Once the Location Managers have been setup and assigned the proper Role(s), any Manager can log in to Perform and assign a form to any employee at that Location using the Manager Tools. From the Home screen, click on the Module drop down and select Evaluations. Using the sidebar navigation menu, navigate to Manager Tools > Assign Evaluations

8 On the Assign Evaluation Screen you can:
Choose the Form from the dropdown Choose the Employee – from all employees assigned to that location Determine the Rater – if you are the one who will be completing the form leave the Rater selection to be Yourself Click Send Evaluation – this will place the form on your Evaluation Due screen immediately

9 Assigning Forms Using the Scheduling Wizard
Once the Location Managers have been setup and assigned the proper Role(s) forms can also be assigned by an Admin using the Scheduling Wizard Choose the Location Manager as the person receiving the form. This will send the for to the first person listed as a Location Manager

10 Viewing Forms for Employees at a Location
Go to the Evaluation Module Click on the Employees Tab – on this screen you will see the Employees assigned to that Location. It will show the number of Completed and Incomplete Evals. If an Employee has people listed as direct reports there will be a number in the Employees column. Clicking on that number will allow you to drill down to those employees. Find the Employee or Search, then Click on the name of the Employee to bring up the Employee Profile page Denny M-O

11 Viewing Forms On the Employee Profile screen – look for the Evaluations section and click on the year in which the form was completed. That will bring up links to any completed forms listed by the Rater’s name. Clicking on the link will open the PDF of the form. Denny M-O
