5 Reading TIP Complete an outline for your argumentative speech that you will write for language arts. You may use the suggested outline provided. See the next slide for speech requirements

Research the answers to the following questions, related to the discovery or invention you chose. Who made the discovery or invention? Explain/describe how the accidental discovery or invention was made? What are the impacts the discovery or invention has made on society, today? 3. Choose one of the following formats to display your findings. Foldable Comic Graphic Organizer Teacher Notes: The science teachers will pass out the 8th Grade TIP #1 Science Portion pamphlet to the students in class. Above are pictures of the pages that need to be completed by the students, for your reference.

Please let the students know that the requirements from the rubric must be included in the comic. Make sure your comic includes answers to the three required questions and is about an accidental discovery or invention from the list.

This brochure should be presented in a duo-tang folder and include the following: A Title page with the name of your country, your student name, team and group A Political map: Includes a compass rose and a map key with a minimum of 5 unique symbols representative of your country. A Physical map: Includes a compass rose and a map key with a minimum of 5 unique symbols representative of your country.

15 Social Studies The brochure must include a Graphic Organizer about your country that describe each of the following elements of the 5 Themes of Geography: Location Place Region Human-Environmental Interaction Movement (Refer to graphic organizer provided to you by your Social Studies teacher.)
