Goggles and Gloves Used to protect your eyes and hands from damage.

Graduated Cylinder Used to precisely measure the volume of liquids or run experiments. Read from the meniscus at eye level. Sizes vary.

Beakers Beakers are used for holding various chemicals.

Erlenmeyer Flask Used to approximately measure the volume of various liquids. Useful for mixing by swirling Sizes vary.

Triple Beam Balance Measures the mass of an object.
Make certain the balance is calibrated correctly before use.

Scoopula A spatula-like scoop utensil used to transfer solids (usually in a powder form).

Microscope Used to look at microscopic (smaller than the eye can see) specimens.

Microscope Slide Thin, flat piece of glass used to hold objects for examination under a microscope.

Cover Slip A thin flat piece of transparent material, usually square or rectangular, that is placed over objects for viewing with a microscope. The object is usually held between the cover slip and the microscope slide.

Test Tubes and Rack Used to hold chemicals/tubes while experimenting.
