THERE HAVE BEEN MORE THAN 8 EVALUATIONS OF WRAP ® AS AN EVIDENCED-BASED INTERVENTION, INCLUDING IN NEW ZEALAND AND SCOTLAND MORE THAN 26 STATES HAVE IMPLEMENTED WRAP ® INITIATIVES WRAP ® IS RECOGNIZED BY SAMHSA’S NATIONAL REGISTRY OF EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAMS AND PRACTICES

13 TRIGGERS TRIGGERS ARE THOSE THINGS THAT HAPPEN OUTSIDE YOURSELF THAT MAKE YOU FEEL WORSE/UNWELL USE ITEMS IN YOUR TOOL BOX TO DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN TO DEAL WITH THE TRIGGERS

14 EARLY WARNING SIGNS THESE ARE THOSE INTERNAL SIGNS AND BEHAVIORS THAT LET YOU KNOW THAT THINGS ARE TAKING A TURN FOR THE WORSE – “YELLOW FLAGS” IDENTIFYING EARLY WARNING SIGNS CAN HELP “HEAD THEM OFF AT THE PASS” THEN WE DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN USING OUR WELLNESS TOOLS TO HELP US FEND OFF THESE EARLY WARNING SIGNS.

15 WHEN THINGS ARE BREAKING DOWN
THIS TERM DEFINES THOSE SIGNS AND BEHAVIORS THAT LET YOU KNOW THAT THINGS HAVE GOTTEN SERIOUS AND NEED YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. AT THIS STAGE, YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO MAKE DECISIONS FOR AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. THE ACTION PLAN HERE IS VERY SPECIFIC.

16 CRISIS PLAN A CRISIS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN A HOSPITAL STAY
IN CRISIS, YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE DECISIONS FOR OR TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF A CRISIS PLAN IS LIKE INSURANCE: BETTER TO HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT THAN TO NEED IT AND NOT HAVE IT ALLOWS YOU TO DEFINE WHAT WILL AND WILL NOT BE DONE AT THIS TIME THE CRISIS PLAN HAS 9 PARTS

17 POST CRISIS PLAN AFTER A CRISIS, THINGS TYPICALLY DO NOT GO RIGHT BACK TO NORMAL THIS IS A TENDER TIME ALLOWS THE TIME AND SPACE TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED TO GET BACK ON TRACK ALLOWS TIME TO THANK THOSE WHO HAVE HELPED YOU THROUGH THE CRISIS ALLOWS TIME TO LEARN FROM THE CRISIS AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY CHANGES ALLOWS TIME TO PREVENT FURTHER REPERCUSSIONS FROM THE CRISIS ALLOWS TIME TO KNOW WHEN TO RESUME RESPONSIBILITIES.
