Love never fails. ” Godly self-love is so beneficial while un-Godly self-love leads to the opposite qualities of 1Cor 13. Sincerely asking the question “What do you see in me Lord?” Which helps so much to love the unlovable, intentionally seeking what is good about them and by praying for them – “it builds something.”

We need to “train our ear” to hear God’s voice. The Lord loves and encourages. He also rebukes and corrects He does not condemn. Self condemnation is not the voice of the Holy Spirit. 1 John says ‘God is Love.’ 1 Cor 13 describes what that love looks like. To learn to recognize God’s love we must STOP long enough to hear.
