HIV patient with reactivation tuberculosis. (A) Frontal chest x-ray demonstrates left upper lobe consolidation (black circle). (B) Axial chest CT also demonstrates left upper lobe consolidation with an air bronchograms (black arrow). (C) Different section from the same scan demonstrates an area of cavitation that is not apparent on the radiograph (black arrow). Sputum cultures demonstrated Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
