Certificates of Proficiency – less than one year to complete/16 to 29 semester credit hours
Certificates of Completion – one year to complete/ at least 30 semester credit hours
Associate of Applied Science Degrees – two years to complete/63 to 69 semester credit hours

Carefully targeted certificates of less than one year can have economic value
Certificates can make people more employable

Submitted a regional plan to the state offices at the USHE, the Utah State Office of Education, and the Utah College of Applied Technology
Identified certificates and other programs that could be offered in high‐demand, high wage occupations and that are important to the region
Identified how these credentials will stack to additional certificates, associate’s degrees, or other programs
Identified ways these programs, or portions thereof, might be provided for delivery in high schools through concurrent enrollment

Computer Science (CS) 1030, 1400, 1410 are the first three classes CS majors take in college. This year, WSU, DSU, and Snow added CS courses so that the full sequence is available through CE.

USBE revisions to Marketing Strands and Standards resulted in lost of 40% of CE Marketing classes. OK. Take more Business classes.
