7 Family Connection Homepage: Students and parents can explore the tabs, pages, links, and updates.

8 Click here to make an appointment w/ your counselor.
Click here to access the counselor letter of recommendation form.

9 Click on SuperMatch

10 Click on each tab to find colleges that match your criteria.

11 Click to compare pinned schools.
Click to “pin” schools.

12 Add a school to your “Colleges I’m Thinking About” list.

13 Save your search. Return to the Colleges Tab to view “Colleges I’m Thinking About”

14 Add colleges to create your list of potential schools.
Here you can keep track of colleges you are interested in, rate your level of interest, view upcoming application deadlines, and transfer schools from Colleges I’m Thinking About, to Colleges I’m Applying to.

15 Explore the various links in the Colleges Tab to explore colleges.
View upcoming college rep visits Scattergrams: Compare yourself to other NA students who applied to the same college. Click “college lookup”

16 Search for a college that interests you.

17 Add to “Colleges I’m Thinking About”
Click “Admissions” to view qualifications for acceptance.

18 Click on the Careers Tab.
Take the Cluster Finder and Career Interest Profiler to explore careers, majors, and possible courses of study. View your saved favorite careers here. **If you would like to retake the Career Interest Profiler, your school counselor will need to reset it for you.

19 Cluster Finder Results: Add Clusters to your list of favorites to begin exploring.

20 After reviewing your Career Interest Profiler, Click Here to explore matching occupations

21 Read job descriptions, learn necessary skills, view activities, compare potential salaries, and search colleges with potential majors

22 In the Careers Tab, click “explore careers & clusters.”

23 Search by keyword, your Holland Code, or by career cluster.

24 Click on the tabs to view specific information about your career and explore related occupations.
Add the career to your favorites list.

25 Review colleges offering majors related to career matches
Review colleges offering majors related to career matches. Click on schools that interest you.

26 Here you can watch videos, review admission information, link to the school’s website, and even begin the application! If you are interested in a school, Click Here to add it to your Colleges I’m Thinking About list.

27 Click on About Me to access other important inventories and surveys.

Classroom presentation (College applications & eDocs) during the week of Sept. 12 Link your Common Application to your Family Connection account Add colleges to your “Colleges I’m Applying To” list Add teachers to your Family Connection account (Sept.) 31 Assigned Tasks View your assigned tasks in the blue box on your home screen. You can also view taks in the “my planner” tab under “tasks assigned to me”
