MAT-2017 National Symposium on Materials for Advanced Technology
February 20-21, 2017 Organized by Department of Physics, Electronics and Communication and Chemistry DIT University, Dehradun In association with MRSI, Delhi Chapter and SPIE & OSA DITU Chapter Advanced materials outperform conventional materials with excellent properties such as high electrical, magnetic and mechanical strength and excellent optical properties. They can have novel properties including the ability to sense the human relationship with nature and respond to changes in environment. The development of functional materials can lead to the designing of completely new products including medical implants, miniature energy storage devices, display devices etc. The new or advanced materials with superior performances for specific applications include nano materials, polymers, super/metallic alloys, ceramic materials, biological materials having superior performance. Keeping this in mind a National Symposium during February 20-21, 2017 is being organized. This will provide an opportunity to accomplish a forum for professional interactions and dissemination of information on latest and perspective developments in the emerging fields. The technical programme will include invited lectures by leading experts in the field, oral and poster presentations. About DIT University: DIT University, a flagship organisation of the Unison Group, is a leading Technical University offering undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes in several streams of engineering, information technology, management, computer applications, architecture and pharmacy. Geographically it is situated at Mussoorie foot hills 10 KM from Dehradun towards Mussoorie, a well known hill station of North India. Call for Paper Papers are solicited on following broad areas of materials science .
