1. Mouse Cookies

2. Makes 2 cookies (triple for a group)
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
2 teaspoons butter flavored shortening
1 teaspoon egg beaters
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
5-6 chocolate chips
1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons all- purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

3. Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350º F (175º C).Lightly grease your cookie sheet or put on parchment paper.
2. Mix the sugar, shortening, egg,vanilla until creamy. Mix in the flour,baking soda and cream of tartar. Be sure to level off ALL dry measurements.

4. 3. Make 1 or 2 small balls of dough
3. Make 1 or 2 small balls of dough. Flatten the balls between hands and place onto the prepared sheets. Press chocolate chips into cookies.

5. 4. Bake at 350º F (175º C) for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on whether you like hard or soft cookies.
5. Remove cookies and let cool for a few minutes.
