The most dramatic impact is a loss of habitat for millions of species. 70% of Earth’s land animals and plants live in rainforests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes. There is also the issue of the speeding up of global warming!

The indigenous people who have lived in rainforests for many years, have seen outside people invade their indigenous reserves and deprived them of their traditional lands and forest .
