It is a phone application that enables the user to turn the pairing of their smartphone and cardboard device into a virtual reality device

Guide-In Guide mode on your phone, lead your students on a virtual trip. Virtually hundreds (pun intended) of trips are available including state and national parks, the White House, and San Diego Zoo. As the guide, you have access to background information and leveled guiding questions.

Google Cardboards are inexpensive – under $10 to purchase. You might not add this to a back-to-school supply list, but if a parent asks for suggestions on extra items to donate to the class you might suggest a Google Cardboard which can be easily purchased on Amazon.
