5 Christmas Eve December 24th is Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Eve, the family eats dinner together. They eat the traditional “Christmas Turkey”. After dinner, the family eats turrón (hard candy) and sings villancicos (Christmas carols). 7 Holy Innocents Day The Holy Innocents Day (similar to April Fools) is on December 28th. They do pranks on friends and family members. The pranks are called “inocentadas”. The most common prank is to stick a paper figure on the back of another person. On that day, the media (TV, radio, newspapers) publish fake news.
