GOOD VS WELL Remember GOOD is used with nouns.
But, WELL is used with verbs. E.g: Joey is a good brother. Fiona can’t swim well. George can use the computer well. Joey is good at science. Can John paint well? Are Rita and Lucy good friends?

Imperative We use the imperative to order or to suggest someone to do something. Eg: Leave the window open, it’s hot in here. Don’t use your phone in classroom. Wash your hands before eating. Don’t write your exams in pencil.

WHICH VS WHAT Use WHICH to choose between two things, or more.
Use WHAT to ask about one specific thing. E.g: Which is more important, doing homework or gossiping? E.g: What’s your favorite activity? What color is that dress? Which school subject do you like more?

SO VS BUT BUT expresses a different idea from the first part of the sentence. SO expresses consequence. E.g: I don’t know how to act, SO I can’t do a skit. E.g: I can run, BUT I don’t like it. E.g: Carl doesn’t have eggs, SO he can’t make a cake. She is a great teacher, but I don’t like how she teaches.

LIKE VS WOULD LIKE Use LIKE to talk about facts, real things.
Use WOULD LIKE to talk about things you don’t have. E.g: I like vanilla cakes. E.g: I would like to have an iphone. I don’t like fish. I wouldn’t like to go to Japan. Does he like comic books? Would you like to have a big birthday party? Do you like tomato soup?

Plural forms: regular or irregular?
For REGULAR forms add –s, -es, -ies. E.g : flower flowers , witch witches, city cities. BUT, there are nouns which are IRREGULAR, so they change in their plural form. E.g: child children, mouse mice, man men.

HOW MANY/ HOW MANY TIMES
HOW MANY is used to check a number, a quantity. HOW MANY TIMES is used to check the frequency you do an activity. E.g: How many books do you have? E.g: How many times a week do you read a book? I have 20 books. I read a book 3 times a week.

‘S VS ‘ Both mark possesion. ‘s is used for the rest of the cases.
‘ (apostrophe) is used only for plural nouns ending in –s. My mother’s birthday cake is pink. E.g: The boys’ bike. Mr. Davis’s yard is bigger. The students’ books are on the desk. Marie’s and Sam’s daughters are friends. The twins’ doll house.

DO VS DID and short form answers.
Do is always used to refer to present actions. For he, she, it use DOES. DID is always used to refer to the past. For all the people we use did. E.g: Do you go to the dentist? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t. E.g: Did you go to school? Yes, I did. /No, I didn’t. Does she have red hair? Yes, she does. / o, she doesn’t. Did he order pizza? Yes, he did. / No, he didn’t.

ON VS IN ON is for days of the week, and specific dates.
IN is for years and months. E.g: The World Trade Center falls in 2001. E.g: On fridays, I go to the park. Spring is in september. On october 31st it is Halloween. In 1876, the phone was invented. Julia was born on april 5th, 2002.

COULD for suggestions (sugerencias)
We use COULD when we want to tell someone what they can do. STRUCTURE: could + verb E.g: Marie knows acting, so she COULD do a skit. Martin likes running, he COULD do track and field. Sheila is good at cooking, she could take a cooking course.
