The students are to select one member of the U. S. House of Representatives from their chosen state. A good link to the House of Representatives is On slide 2 the students are to list the qualifications for the office of House of Representatives.

U.S. House of Representatives
Qualifications for Office: According to Article I Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution members are chosen every two years, must be at least 25 years old, and must have been U.S. citizens for at least 7 years. Also, they must be residents of the state in which they are running for office.

U.S. SENATE Qualifications for Office: According to Article I Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution: You must be at least 30 years old You must have been a U.S. citizen for at least 9 years and live in the state that you represent
