AYSO's Vision: To provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. AYSO's Mission: To develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies.

Player Ratings Ball Skill: 1 (weak skills) to 5 (very strong skills) Speed: 1 (slow) to 5 (fast) * Should be rated based on their skill in their division, besides just your team. * If they understand the game (passing, know where to be, coachable), lean to a higher rating. Example: Ball Skill Speed Name Name Name 3 2 2

Coach Admin Notes Positive coaching: Respect the Players and Volunteer Referees Ask parents to help and have them complete the volunteer form on eAYSO.org Of course playing ONLY the kids on your team during the game. Remember to bring player registrations, ice packs, basic fist aid kits to practices and games.

From the Referee Administrator
/19/14 From the Referee Administrator Heading Mandate from US SOCCER and AYSO. For all players in U-12 and younger age divisions, there shall be no deliberate heading of the ball in games or in practice. Any player with a suspected head injury may not return to the game unless a Health Care Professional has cleared the player Any coach or parent insisting on returning the player to the game without approved clearance will result in the referee ending the game. Kickoffs The ball is in play when it is kicked and clearly moves. The ball no longer has to go forward. Offside The indirect free kick shall now be taken from the point where the offense occurs, not the point at which the player was first in an offside position.
