Carrying capacity- largest number of individuals that can survive over long periods of time in a given environment Limiting factors- Some aspect of the environment that limits a populations growth. Examples: Temperature, Space, Food, Light, Water, Predators

Today we will… 8. 11(C) explore how short- and long-term environmental changes affect organisms and traits in subsequent populations; and 8. 11(D) recognize human dependence on ocean systems and explain how human activities such as runoff, artificial reefs, or use of resources have modified these systems.
