The machines can be dangerous Always be alert

Do NOT use the shop tools and/or machines if a supervisor is not there.

Wear eye protection at all times!

Always wear shoes that cover your toes

If the machine starts shaking, or makes any other weird noises Shutdown the machine

Use the tools for their purpose ONLY

YOU will return tools to their correct storage area.

Please tell the supervisor if there are ANY damaged tools or machines. DO NOT use broken tools or machines. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to report ANY damaged tools or machines to your teacher. DO NOT use defective tools or machines.

ALWAYS tell the supervisor of ANY injuries. NO MATTER HOW SMALL. ALWAYS report ANY injuries to your teacher. NO MATTER HOW SMALL. Please tell the supervisor of any current injuries that would affect your safety in the woodshop today

NEVER Push shove or fool around in the wood shop use a tool as a toy.

NEVER play with safety buttons or other switches.

DO NOT reach over the equipment while it is running.

Bystanders will be kept away from moving machinery.

NO baggy clothing, loose jewellery or untied long hair in the woodshop

If your not sure on how to do a job Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

No person that is sick, tired, or is taking new medications should use any machines or power tools.

Unplug power tools before fixing, changing parts or clearing jams.
