Client: Staples (“The Global ecoeasy Challenge)
Objectives: Develop a prestigious Global competition involving select design and engineering schools worldwide to compete to create the best concept for a sustainable office product. Also, to identify new cutting edge products for the office while solidifying Staples position as a global leader in sustainability. Tactics: Contest to design an environmentally preferable business or home office product. Mechanics: DJA recommended and developed a custom microsite that allowed students to enter their submissions online. The site offered a comprehensive overview of the program and served as a resource to students and professors interested in the program. DJA also worked closely with Staples to develop the contest mechanics. DJA developed an online web based judging tool that could be used by multiple judges in various location around the globe. Prizes: Grand Prizes (1): $25,000. First Prize (1) and Second Prize: $5,000. DJA Handled: Full program administration and custom microsite.
