10. Intel ISEF
The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is the Olympics of high school research competitions.
Held annually in May, the Intel ISEF brings together 1,600 students from across the U.S. and over 70 countries, regions, and territories.
Students compete for $4 million in scholarships, tuition grants, internships, scientific field trips and the grand prize: a trip to attend the Nobel Prize Ceremonies in Stockholm, Sweden.
