What Will it Take? Money Manpower Tools/Equipment Phase 1 $30,200
Leadership (Patrick) Project manager (Brian) 20-30 man-days of hard labor (Dads, Moms, Kids) Tools/Equipment Dump truck and driver Pickup truck Compactor Sod cutter Bobcat skid steer (maybe) Wheelbarrows Rakes, shovels, hammers
8
Where Do We Stand? Phase 1 Phase 2
Awaiting RUSD School Board approval (May 16) Money looks good Chain link fencing contractor standing by Turf source identified Additional equipment/supplies available from multiple vendors Need manpower to install turf and nets Phase 2 Money needs to raised Pad expansion design complete Equipment source identified Need trucks to move pad materials and equipment Need manpower to construct pads, install turf and nets
9
What Are the Risks? RUSD will own the cages
Money not available to complete Loss of leadership Loss of momentum once baseball season ends Annual maintenance Electrical power for more than one pitching machine
10
