From , a number of major disasters hit Louisiana, from which we are still recovering: 2005: Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita 2007: Hurricanes Gustav and Hurricane Ike 2010: Deepwater Horizon Incident 2011: Mississippi and Atchafalaya river flooding & Tropical Storm Lee 2012: Hurricane Isaac : 4 State declarations include two winter weather events, flooding and tornadoes
