5. The Problem Starting from 1976: Apple sells went really low.
Apple lost $708 million.
John Scully ran Apple, but didn’t have a good understanding of Apple’s brand or culture.
Replaced employees several times.
He directly fire any poor employee.
He sets his goals without clarifying them because it seemed so obvious to him.
Rob Johnson, the creator of the outstanding retail store left.
Alison Johnson, Apple’s vice president of global marketing and communication left.
The board of directors didn’t agree with Steve and got him out once.
