2 “…so that you will be able to stand firm against the
“…so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil having done everything to stand firm” (Eph. 6:11, 13) “…the Lord is able to make him stand” (Rom. 14:4) “…stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (1 Cor. 16:13) “…keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 5:1) “…standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel” (Phil. 1:27) “…stand firm in the Lord, my beloved” (Phil. 4:1) “…that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God” (Col. 4:12)

3 BACK IN SCHOOL, STAND FIRM

4 All that is true does not contradict the Creator.
The truth about the universe is not new to the true and living God. Stand firm in your awe of God, of His power and of His creation. “By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” (Heb. 11:3)

5 All that is true does not contradict the Creator.
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?. . . Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to know its place?. . . Can you lead forth a constellation in its season, and guide the Bear with her satellites?. . . Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars, stretching his wings toward the south?” (Job 38:4, 12, 32; 39:26)

6 The Bible is reliable history and absolute truth about God, Christ, man.
This library of divinely inspired 66 books is ancient words. Watch out for seeds of distrust and discontentment against the Bible. Stand firm believing in and adhering to Christ’s gospel. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16)

7 The Bible is reliable history and absolute truth about God, Christ, man.
“For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe” (1 Thess. 2:13) “For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is through the living and enduring word of God” (1 Pet. 1:23)

8 The Bible is reliable history and absolute truth about God, Christ, man.
“Simon Peter answered Him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.’” (John 6:68)

9 Your behavior should always reflect God’s righteousness.
The majority in the world live by values that are not God-centered, nor God-directed. Do not go down that broad path… Stand firm abhorring what is evil and clinging to what is good (Rom. 12:9) Solomon’s advise (Ecc. 11:9; 12:1)

10 Your behavior should always reflect God’s righteousness.
“Let us behave properly Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh” (Rom. 13:13, 14) “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy” (Jam. 3:17)

11 Your behavior should always reflect God’s righteousness.
“Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe” (1 Tim. 4:12)
