28 ACN INTEGRITY Customer Acquisition Maintain the integrity of ACN
Customer sign ups – ONLY completed by the customer IBOs MUST complete and adhere to Customer Acquisition Code Accreditation Training Ensure your customers ONLY submit applications for one service with THEIR details Submission of Customer Applications IBOs may not submit any Customer Application on behalf of a customer. In the event that an IBO submits a Customer Application on behalf of a Customer, submits any false or fraudulent Customer Applications, or is involved in the submission of invalid Customer Applications, the IBO may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination of all of their IBO rights and loss of entitlement to commissions, bonuses and payments of any kind. ACN reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether legal action shall be brought against any IBO who it believes has intentionally or negligently submitted false, fraudulent or invalid Customer Applications. All illegible, duplicate, or incorrectly completed Customer Applications will not be accepted by ACN. It is the IBO’s responsibility to review his/her Personal Customer List (“PCL”) to ensure that all Customer Applications submitted by customers are listed on it. For the purposes of CABs, Bonuses and Qualifications, the time and date that the Customer Application is received by ACN will determine its validity, rather than the time and date that it was sent. ACN compliance and our Agency partner’s quality and fraud monitoring teams have also detected a significant increase in suspect credit applications submitted for ACN and Agency products and services. There are common themes associated with many of these failed checks, these include: multiple applications submitted for one service and falsification of: the customer’s name and identity; their employment history; personal ID (drivers licence, Medicare card); and the time and the nature of residence at a household. Many of these failed applications feature details of the acquiring IBO and not the customer. For more information visit:
