2. Write your central idea/theme in the centre.

3. Add a branch that leads on from your central idea, don’t use straight lines but do use colour and images.

4. Create associations between ideas by creating sub branches

6. Keep building up your mind map using curves, colour and images

7. Once your map is complete, you can keep adding to it as you discover/remember new information
Keep it displayed on a wall and take frequent breaks to study it
