CHRIST IS INDISPENSABLE

Christ Is Indispensable As The Savior
Matthew 1: "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.'' Salvation from our sins as well as eternal salvation is found in Jesus Christ. I Thessalonians 5: For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Only in Him Acts 4: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.''

He Is Indispensable Because He Is The Propitiation For Our Sins
I John 2: And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Other versions read “He is the expiation for our sins,” Propitiation— To appease; to make favorable. Expiation— To atone for. Christ is both. Through His death, he appeased God and made us favorable in His eyes. Christ atoned for our sin by shedding His blood. Hebrews 9:12-14, 22-28 Romans 5:6-11

He Is Indispensable As The Content Of The Gospel Message
Christ and His word is what must be preached. He is the basis of our faith. I Corinthians15: For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Paul told us what He preached. I Corinthians 1: For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For the Jews request a sign,

and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. II Corinthians 4: For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord. Paul told why he preached the gospel. Romans 1: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

He Is Indispensable As Our Example He is our example in service.
John 13: "You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.” Matthew 20: But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.'' Galatians 5: For you, brethren, have been called to liberty;

As Christ was sinless so we also should strive to be.
only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. I Peter 2: For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: He is our example about sin. “Who committed no sin,” Hebrews 4: For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. As Christ was sinless so we also should strive to be. I Peter 2: Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.

We cannot live a perfect life as Christ did.
I John 2: My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. I John 1:7, But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Acts 8: "Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.” Repentance + Confession + Prayer = Forgiveness

He is our example in speech
Verse 22— “Nor was guile found in His mouth” Ephesians 4:29, Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. He is our example on how to handle mistreatment. Verse 23—Who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, Romans 12:17-21

How Was He Able To Do This?
Verse 24—But kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; Christ is indispensable because He shows what happens when one puts their faith and trust in God. When we put our faith and trust in God, No matter what fiery darts Satan may fire at us, We are going to be able to get through it because God has promised to be with us help us. Hebrews 13: For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you.'' So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?''
