Overview Pathshala is managed by independent group of volunteers
Director of Pathshala, Coordinators for religion and language classes, administrative activities, cultural programs About 100 volunteers including more than 65 teachers. New teachers coming on are alumni of JCSC pathshala All families volunteer in some way Traffic control Registering attendance, copying facility, other administrative tasks Room parent to organize cultural activities with class 13-15 families take turn to prepare snacks for about people after each class

Overview 350 children registered for Pathshala
14 religion classes, more than 10 language classes and culture class 3 yrs to 6 yrs: Mommy & Me classes 16 & 17 yrs: Discussion Workshops Annually 19 classes held on alternate Sundays 1 hour of Religion and 1 hour of Language (Gujarati, Hindi) Break over the summer Some class for every member of family: Culture Class for teenagers that are done with language class Adult Swadhyay classes in English and Gujarati Stotra Classes for children and adults iPad classes for seniors

Jain Center Youth Committee (JCYC)
17 members selected each year through process of interview and performance evaluation Membership: Key positions held by High School Juniors and Seniors. Members at Large accepted from ages 12 and up. This gives each child 2- 4 years of experience as committee member before taking on key role Committee Activities: Organize monthly fun events for Pathshala kids: Bowling, Mela, Graduation Garba, Holi, costume party, Grandparents’ Day Host Mahavir Janma Kalyanak cultural program Winter Camp Represent Jain Center in local community and Interfaith activity Prepares them for host of other ways to serve at the Jain Center in the future
