Why did the artist chose the colors that he or she did?
How are the least used colors made?
Identify green (shirt and box) /orange (street barricade) / purple (stoplight) as not being used much.
Goal:
Student should identify the least used colors as the product of Synthesis:
Red + Blue = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Yellow = Green
Inversely, students should identify the most used colors being similar to Lysis:
Purple, Orange, and Green decompose/ break down into the most basic colors.
We cannot break down the colors red, blue, and yellow anymore.

3. Which are the primary colors?
Red, Blue, and Yellow are the primary colors.
Red and Blue synthesize to form Purple.
Blue and Yellow synthesize to form Green.
Yellow and Red synthesize to form Orange.

4. Fold your construction paper hamburger style and cut it in half
