“The Vision of the Charity for Civil Servants is a lifelong community; people offering effective support for each other when life takes a turn for the worse.”

9. Which is great, but to achieve it - we need to do some things differently

26. 1. Provide at least twice as much help for people within 5 years, as we do today

27. 2. Establish, understand and demonstrate the true value of our work

For example…..
If every volunteer in the room left here today and told 5 people back in their workplace or a former colleague about the charity, who hadn’t heard of us before – and explained about how we can support and help them. That would mean 300 new people would know about the charity this year.
If 300 new people learnt about the charity every year, for the next 5 years….that’s 1500 people new people who’s lives we can help change over the next five years, thanks to you all. And that is just one part of the charity’s work.
